The Cornhole Story Cornhole, also known as baggo, is very similar to horseshoes. Players take turns throwing the bags at the cornhole boards until a player or team reaches the score of 21 points. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the board scores 1 point. Remember, points off-set each other so if you get one bag in and so does your opponent, the throws cancel out. The winning team is the first team to reach the score of 21, winning by a minimum of 2 points. The most enjoyable part of cornhole is the way it brings good friends and family together. Cornhole is a true team game. Reasons to cheer or condemn your loved ones are abundant. You will often find yourself screaming for some reason or another.
PlayingTips:
Cornhole is a game of focus and rhythm. A good Cornhole player will follow these simple steps:
· Develop a pre-shot routine and stick to it
· Always aim at a specific point on the board
· Have a nice full follow through, some players even fall towards the target after releasing the bag · Make a nice full back swing so the forward swing is not rushed
· The easiest way to grip the bag is to pinch the corner of the bag, holding only fabric, and flip the bag at your target
· Try to throw on the side nearest your throwing arm, it just makes sense and is easier to throw down the middle · Practice, practice, practice…
